Completed new projects

 Cute turquoise bench that was given that shabby chic look that is so hot right now.  Please excuse the messy workshop.

Found these 3 screens at Scott's Antique Mall and hubby wanted to know what I was going to do with those.  Well, here's one I had him make into a cabinet.

White window hutch painted to look old and worn.  I love this piece, I can see cookbooks and some beautiful dishes displayed.

 Tall shutter cabinet with the inside painted blue.  The outside was painted blue, waxed, painted black and distressed so the blue would show through.  I want to give a shout out to 2 gals & a brush chalk paint powder for the wonderful product that they have and the creative ways they paint our furniture.  If you have not tried their product you should.

Cute iron door that I found and asked hubby to make me a cabinet around it.  I had to take the piece and have the color matched cuz I just love the turquoise color.  I bought 4 of these doors because I think they are going to be hot at the shows this year.

 We found these old frosted glass windows at Scott's Antique and he did another great job of building a cabinet to show off the windows.  Great for out of sight storage and for collectibles on top.

Another iron piece we found at Scott's Antiques, this had three different colors.  It was barn red, black and had white splashed on it.  I had to paint the cabinet black first, then wax it, then paint a coat of barn red, sand that off in different areas and then splash white on to match the color on the door.  It was a work of love!!

Custom orders completed

 Two school teachers picked out the paint and gave us a picture of what they wanted constructed.  Looked beautiful in their home.

Custom made headboard bench from a client's bed.  We have a collection of beds to choose from and you can pick out what style and size you prefer.

We made this custom cabinet for one of our clients.  Her little boy is an avid baseball fan and she has decorated his room with all his baseball collectables.  This is so cute!!  Thank you for the wonderful picture!!

Out pickin'

It's been awhile since I have posted anything on my blog.  Holidays are over and now it is time to get down to business.  Orders are still coming in, so we have been very busy in the workshop getting them done.  Now it's time to get going on all the craft fairs coming up.  Here are some of my pickin' finds this weekend.  We did get a beautiful twin size bed, that my hubby was to lazy to get out of the truck so I could take a picture.  It was way too cold!!  Picked up 5 beautiful ladder back chairs too, that was on Saturday.  Great estate sales!!  Yoohoo bring on spring so we can get pickin'....I froze my butt off.  Last weekend it was in the 70's.....

Customer ordered this cute cabinet for her son's room.  She wanted little cubbies so he can put things in and a space at the bottom for baskets.  His TV will go on top of the cabinet and he has three drawers for all his clothes.  She loves it!!

 Two door cabinet made for a nice lady in Marietta, GA.  She wants to hide all sorts of stuff inside so no one can see it but her.

Barn wood coffee table was purchased by a gal at our last craft show.  Her mother loved her table so much that her daughter ordered another one and gave it to her mom for a Christmas present.  Sweet daughter!!
All our customer orders have been completed, so maybe we can take a month off before we start on all our spring projects and shows!!  Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all!!

Showcasing our clients custom orders

Custom built bookcase for Diane's craft room, holds all her supplies she needs

 Diane needed a work table she could cut and layout her projects.  This piece was designed to her specifications

 Diane also needed a space to store her crafting supplies.  She did a fantastic job decorating and organizing her bookcase!!

 Just delivered a desk for Diane's computer.  Haven't seen it all decked out yet!!  She is a great decorator!!

 Valorie ordered a custom built island to her specifications, she needed it narrow but 5 feet long.  She wanted extra space for all her beautiful cookware to be displayed.

 The island was painted in a custom barn red color and she added the primitive seating on both ends.

Cindy ordered a custom hutch bookcase in black to display all her pottery, cookbooks and beautiful cookware.  The cookware is a burnt orange and it looks fantastic on her shelves.

Cindy also ordered a twin headboard bench for a reading nook.  All these custom pieces were designed and created by J D Mack Crafts.

Cotton Pickin' Fair Sunday, Oct 7, 2012

On Sunday, we had to rearrange and freshen up our booth.  We sold so many snowmen that we had to move them to one table instead of two.  We moved some of the fall items to that table.

This was sold around 11 am.  What a great weekend, the weather was perfect on Sunday about 70 degrees and breezy.  The crowds were wonderful and everyone had a fantastic weekend.  Can't wait till May!!
